PROCESS:

This show is designed, built, sewn, painted, drawn, printed, sculpted, engineered, administered and directed by artist Risa Lenore. Concepts and story seeds began to sprout  in 2019 when Risa participated as an Artist in Residence at the El Cerrito Recycling center. Much of the materials in this show are scrounged, upcycled, reused and reclaimed. Sources for the materials include the El Cerrito Recycle Center, SCRAP, Thrift Stores, the street, Urban Ore, and Neighbor's Recycle bins.

The other puppeteers and performers, Daniel, Ceci and David collaborated with Risa to expand on the story seeds and turn them into fully fleshed vignettes. These are small stories about big things told through surreal imagery, metaphor and allegory.

The Theatre stage was built by Cameron in collaboration with Risa.

Friends came by to lend helping hands, cutting, stapling, sewing, gluing!

THANK YOU ALL!
